At present, III has combined the service energy of Nankang Software Incubation Center, Kaohsiung Software Incubation Center, Vietnam Incubation Center, and this ISI to assist and integrate all the rest of the Incubation Centers and the Incubation industry in Taiwan to form an industry cluster for exchanging information and sharing experiences.  Consequently, III will be corresponding with the government’s policy and assist the domestic industry to establish an industry cluster as well as to effectively create market opportunities in important cities in PRC China.

  • The benefits of the New Generation Network application and innovative service for the globalization of enterprises.
In 2007, III implemented the “New Generation Network Application Incubation Project”, which successfully promoted the new generation network innovative service and formed a creative cluster convergence for Taiwan network services.  Thus, to establish the incubation environment, III and Taiwan Internet Association constructed web 2.0 “Tri Networks Integrated Service Incubation Platform”, the sole service incubation platform, to combine mobile communication network, wireless network, and cable network, and incubate more than 60 newly created network services in operation.  III collaborated with IDG Network conglomerate in a DEMO Show and developed the “6-Minute Presentation Skill” to assist domestic companies in effectively presenting their specific products.  In 2008, 5 innovative services incubated by the “New Generation Network Application Development Project” were awarded by the assessing committee with the DEMO GOD prize, and the 2008 award of “Star of Innovation” in China.  In 2009, III assisted the Taiwanese Innovation Service Team to go through the localization and globalization process and successfully obtain business opportunities in the international market.  This example of the Taiwan network service innovation allowed for an entry into the international market and created a new image worldwide.

  • The promotion of core competitiveness for the digital content industry and the software industry in southern Taiwan.
In cooperation with the project of expanding the Kaohsiung Software Park to become an innovative science and technology development park in “i-Taiwan 12 construction plans” by the government, SMEA (SME Administration) of MOEA enhanced the development of the southern economy and industry, particularly the relevant software industry clustering effect, and established the Kaohsiung Software Incubation Center.  SMEA combined with III, which boasts of a rich know-how and industrial counseling experience, incubates the IT Software industry of the southern region.  The incubation domain of Kaohsiung Software Park includes Digital Content, IT Software, Science and Technology embedded Service, and Mobile Service related industry, and forms a strong dual-core incubation of software industries with the Nankang Software Park of Taipei.

Moreover, in order to respond to the promotion policy of Cultural Creativity by the government and the world-wide trend of Cloud Computing, Kaohsiung Software Incubation Center will actively assist southern industries with the transition or entering the domain of Cloud Computing and Digital Content, and further form a new cluster in southern Taiwan.  At present, 14 companies have participated in the Cloud Computing R&D Project to expand the clustering effect.  Such clustering effect also promotes development of the IT industry in southern Taiwan.
