International Division (ID) is a division of the Institute for Information Industry (III) which specializes in bringing international opportunities to domestic and global vendors. Taiwan is a well-known procurement center for hardware and software systems. Our goals are to promote international collaboration, stimulate growth of small and medium enterprises and encourage innovation.
The International Division (ID) of III was established in 2005. Domestically, the ID division integrates III resources and leverages III's capacity to assist Taiwanese software enterprises and the ICT service industry in expanding their businesses worldwide. Globally, we assist international customers to find solutions. The task International Division is to guide local vendors in creating optimal value for international clients through high quality information technologies, products, solutions and services. In this way, we create a win-win-win situation for domestic vendors and international clients so that consumers can enjoy the benefits of successful cooperation.

International Division offers a wide range of services:
To increase the number of international opportunities for our domestic vendors, we integrate existing resources to upgrade the vendors' company image through promotional activities, gathering of target market requirements and customer information, development of sales channels and business models and business arrangements between potential international purchasers and Taiwanese vendors.
For different technologies in specialized fields, we form various consortia and alliances with influential domestic vendors to effectively win business deals. This cannot be done without acquiring accurate business information and persistent communication between partners and customers.
In order to help our group of domestic vendors expand in global markets, we gather together our partners from international distribution channels in Southeast Asia (Vietnam, Thailand), Northern Pacific (Marshall Islands), Africa (Nigeria, Burkina Faso), the Middle East (Kuwait, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and Oman) and the USA. By cooperating with governing organizations and associations, we establish an effective long-term service mechanism that raises the competitiveness and performance level of our domestic vendors in both products and services, as well as promoting III's R&D solutions.
