The two parties will collectively promote issues like schedule visualization and application development in the intelligent industries. III International Division Vice Director Hu Hsiu-Wu indicated that following the global trend of intelligent manufacturing, companies are aware that the Advanced Planning & Scheduling System (APS) plays an imperative role in taking the resource integration advantage and achieving the goal to quickly respond to customer demand. Asprova, one of the leading schedule visualization system provider in the world, is an important partner for Taiwan to work with in promotion of intelligent manufacturing.
In view of the overall situation, III signed MOU with Asprova to establish a co-working platform for Taiwanese and Japanese companies in the intelligent manufacturing field. In the future, there will be events in various forms held collectively by companies between two sides. It is expected that by the collaboration, the application gap associated with schedule visualization and intellectualization between the two countries could be bridged so as to expedite the promotion process of intelligent manufacturing in Taiwan. Meanwhile, Asprova collaborated with Ken system International Corporation to set up a service center in Taiwan so that it will dedicate more resources to Taiwan, strengthen the relationship with domestic enterprises, and help to increase the overall productivity by introducing local manufacturers to apply intelligent scheduling systems.
Asprova, the first company researching and developing as well as dedicated to schedule visualization systems in Japan, was established in 1994. Whether by introducing real cases about schedule planning in Japan, providing real site visiting tours focusing on intelligent scheduling, or sharing the schedule planning know-how in the manufacturing industry, Asprova will be a great help to improve the management ability of Taiwanese firms on the topics of logistics and supply chain management as well as the coordinating capability between production and marketing so that the general industrial management competence of Taiwanese enterprises could therefore advance into the next level.
