DIRECT-MODE COMMUNICATION SYSTEM AND DISCOVERY INTERACTIVE METHOD THEREOF |
USA
|
Abstract
A direct-mode communication system having a user direct-mode communication apparatus and a serving direct-mode communication apparatus is provided. The user direct-mode communication apparatus connects to an operating server, and authenticates with the operating server to obtain a user authenticated identification. The serving direct-mode communication apparatus connects to the operating server, and authenticates with the operating server to obtain a serving authenticated identification. The user direct-mode communication apparatus broadcasts a discovery signal based on the user authenticated identification. The serving direct-mode communication apparatus receives the discovery signal after the user direct-mode communication apparatus enters a default serving range, and provides interactive information to the user direct-mode communication apparatus according to the discovery signal and based on the serving authenticated identification.

BASE STATION, WIRELESS END DEVICE, AND TRANSMISSION BARRING METHODS THEREOF |
USA
|
Abstract
A base station, a wireless end device, and transmission barring methods are provided. The base station is configured to receive a special event notification message from a core network, generate a barring message after receiving the special event notification message, and transmit the barring message to the wireless end device. The base station is not overloaded when the barring message is generated and transmitted. After receiving the barring message, the wireless end device is suspended from transmitting data to the base station for a barring time interval.

REFERECING DEVICE, METHOD AND NON-VOLATILE COMPUTER READABLE STORAGE MEDIUM FOR STORING THEREOF FOR LINKING DOCUMENT FILE TO REFERENCED IMAGE FILE |
USA
|
Abstract
A referencing method for linking a document file to a referenced image file is provided. The referencing method comprises the steps outlined below. The image file is provided. A plurality groups of reference information are received, in which each of the groups of reference information comprises a combination of reference symbols and/or a combination of reference characters and correspond to an image area of the image. The document file is provided. A plurality of input characters are received to edit the document file. A specific combination of characters are generated in the document file according to at least one key characters of the input characters, in which the specific combination of characters match one corresponding group of reference information. A synchronized reference link is generated between the specific combination of characters and the corresponding group of reference information.

EVOLVED PACKET CORE LESS DIRECT MODE COMMUNICATION SYSTEM AND COMMUNICATION ATTACHING METHOD THEREOF |
USA
|
Abstract
An evolved packet core less direct-mode communication system and a communication attaching method thereof are provided. The evolved packet core less direct-mode communication system comprises a client direct-mode communication apparatus and a server direct-mode communication apparatus. The server direct-mode communication apparatus transmits a synchronization signal to the client direct-mode communication apparatus. The client direct-mode communication apparatus synchronizes to the server direct-mode communication apparatus according to the synchronization signal and establishes a communication connection with the evolved packet core less direct-mode communication system after synchronization.

POSITIONING CONTROL METHOD |
USA
|
Abstract
A positioning control method, suitable for an electronic device moving along with a vehicle, is provided in this disclosure. The electronic device includes an image-capturing module and a satellite-based positioning module. The positioning control method includes steps of: capturing a first image; extracting an icon object from the first image; capturing a second image; identifying the corresponding icon object in the second image; calculating a separation distance between the electronic device and the icon object according to a variance of the icon object between the first and the second images and a displacement distance of the vehicle; searching a point-of-interest (POI) corresponding to the icon object from a POI database; and, calculating/calibrating positioning data of the electronic device according to the separation distance and known coordinates of the POI.

DIRECT MODE COMMUNICATION SYSTEM AND DCOMMUNICATION ATTACHING METHOD THEREOF |
USA
|
Abstract
A direct-mode communication system includes a first client direct-mode communication apparatus and a first backhaul network. The first client direct-mode communication apparatus transmits a proximity notification request to a second backhaul network via the first backhaul network so that the second backhaul network returns a proximity notification acknowledgement (ACK) signal. The first backhaul network receives a piece of first client location information and a piece of second client location information from the first direct-mode communication apparatus and the second backhaul network respectively, and determines a location relationship accordingly. The first backhaul network transmits a Wi-Fi connection signal to the first client direct-mode communication apparatus according to the location relationship. The first client direct-mode communication apparatus establishes a direct-mode communication connection with a second client direct-mode communication apparatus according to the Wi-Fi connection signal.
