WIRELESS DEVICE AND WIRELESS NETWORK SYSTEM |
USA
|
Abstract
A wireless device and a wireless network system are provided. The wireless device is configured to discover an under-discovered wireless device, and a first network server serves the under-discovered wireless device. The under-discovered wireless device transmits a terminal signal to the first network server at a specific frequency and in a specific period. The wireless device includes a transceiver and a processor electrically connected to the transceiver. The processor obtains a piece of feature information regarding to the under-discovered wireless device by listening to the terminal signal via the transceiver, and identifies that the under-discovered wireless device is in a discovery coverage of the wireless device based on a determination result that the feature information or a normalized feature information is higher than a predetermined threshold.

SYNCHRONIZATION DEVICE AND SYNCHRONIZATION METHOD THEREOF |
USA
|
Abstract
A synchronization device and a synchronization method for use in a receiver are provided. The receiver receives a signal from a transmitter. The synchronization device generates a plurality of first pseudo noise codes in sequence according to a first code phase sequence and generates a plurality of second pseudo noise codes in sequence according to a second code phase sequence which is the reverse of the first code phase sequence, simultaneously. Every time a first pseudo noise code and a second pseudo noise code are generated, the synchronization device makes a correlation calculation for the first pseudo noise code, the second pseudo noise code and the signal. The synchronization device further determines a code phase according to the correlation calculations, and synchronizes with the signal according to the code phase. The synchronization method is applied to the synchronization device to implement the aforesaid operations.

A method for building a three-dimensional model and apparatus thereof |
USA
|
Abstract
A method to build a 3D model for a physical object includes the following steps. First, depth information of a plurality of images is converted into a plurality of 3D point clouds. Then, the motion parameters of the camera to gather each image relative to a previous image are determined according to the 3D point clouds. Next, a registration energy estimate value of each image’s 3D point cloud, as being integrated into a previous image’s 3D point cloud, is determined according to corresponding motion parameters. Then, the motion parameters are varied to minimize the estimate value. An optimal camera path is determined according to the varied motion parameters. Finally, a 3D model of the physical object is built according the optimal camera path.

POWER CONSUMPTION PREDICTION APPARATUS, METHOD, AND NON-TRANSITORY COMPUTER READABLE STORAGE MEDIUM THEREOF |
USA
|
Abstract
A power consumption prediction apparatus, method, and non-transitory computer readable storage medium thereof are provided. The power consumption prediction apparatus receives a plurality of power consumption data of an appliance, wherein the power consumption data have a temporal sequence. Each power consumption datum includes a recorded status and a recorded time length, wherein each recorded status is one of a plurality operation statuses of the appliance. The power consumption prediction apparatus calculates an average operation time length of each operation status according to the recorded statuses and the recorded time lengths and calculates at least one transferring probability of each operation status according to the temporal sequence and the power consumption data. Each transferring probability is the probability of entering into a target status from a source status, wherein the source status is one of the operation statuses and the target status is one of the operation statuses.

DIRECT MODE COMMUNICATION SYSTEM AND COMMUNICATION ATTACHING METHOD THEREOF |
USA
|
Abstract
A direct-mode communication system comprises a first client direct-mode communication apparatus and a backhaul network. The first client direct-mode communication apparatus transmits a register signal to the backhaul network to register with the backhaul network. After the first client direct-mode communication apparatus is registered, the backhaul network determines a location relationship between the first client direct-mode communication apparatus and a second client direct-mode communication apparatus. The backhaul network transmits a piece of wi-fi connection information to the first client direct-mode communication apparatus according to the location relationship. The first client direct-mode communication apparatus creates a wi-fi direct-mode communication connection with the second client direct-mode communication apparatus according to the piece of wi-fi connection information.
