Abstract
A user equipment, a small cell and an operation method thereof are provided. The small cell includes a processor and a transceiver. The processor is configured to generate a maintaining downlink signal when the small cell is in an off-state. The maintaining downlink signal utilizes fewer radio resources compared to a normal downlink signal which is generated when the small cell is in an on-state. The transceiver is electrically connected to the processor and configured to continuously transmit the maintaining downlink signal when the small cell is in the off-state and receive an uplink signal from the user equipment. The processor further switches the small cell from the off-state to the on-state according to the uplink signal.

Abstract
A multi-class object classifying method and system are disclosed herein, where the multi-class object classifying method includes the following steps: classes, first training images and second training images are received and stored, and first characteristic images and second characteristic images are respectively extracted from the first training images and the second training images; the first training images is used to generate classifiers through a linear mapping classifying method; a classifier and the second characteristic images are used to determine parameter ranges corresponding to the classes and a threshold corresponding to the classifier. When two of the parameter ranges overlap, the remaining parameter ranges except for the two overlapped parameter ranges are recorded; after another classifier is selected from the classifiers except for the classifier that has been selected, the previous steps is repeated until the parameter ranges don’t overlap with each other and the parameter ranges are recorded.

A method for reducing the handover frequency by a femto gateway in femtocell networks includes the steps: receiving a measurement report from a communication device by an initial femtocell; transmitting a relocation required message to a femto gateway by the initial femtocell if the signal strength thereof is below a threshold; ignoring the relocation required message and enabling the timer by the femto gateway after receiving the relocation required message; determining whether the cell ID included in the call reestablishment request message is classified as “femtocell” or not by the femto gateway before the timer expires; if so, rebuilding the link to the femtocell in response to the cell ID by the femto gateway.
