METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR CLEANING MALICIOUS SOFTWARE AND COMPUTER PROGRAM PRODUCT AND STORAGE MEDIUM |
USA
|
Abstract
A method and a system for cleaning malicious software (malware), a computer program product, and a storage medium are provided. A relation graph is established to associate processes in an operating system and related elements. A node marking action is performed on the relation graph when a predetermined condition is satisfied. The node corresponding to a malicious process and its related nodes are marked with a first label. The nodes of other normal processes and their related nodes are marked with a second label. Then, those nodes marked with both the first label and the second label are screened, so that each of the nodes is marked with only the first label or the second label. Finally, the processes and elements corresponding to the nodes marked with the first label are removed.

COMMUNICATION SYSTEM AND METHOD THEREOF |
USA
|
Abstract
A communication system for transmitting data of a first mobile station to a second mobile station includes a base station and a relay device. The base station is utilized for configuring an uplink and a downlink of the data to correspond to a first connection ID and a second connection ID respectively and for transmitting a traffic encryption key to the first and second mobile stations so that the first and second mobile stations share the traffic encryption key. The relay device is coupled to the base station and the first and second mobile stations via wireless communication, and utilized for receiving the data encrypted by the traffic encryption key and transferring the data of the first mobile station to the second mobile station according to the first and second connection IDs without going via the base station.

METHOD FOR BANDWIDTH RECOVERY OF COMMUNICATION SYSTEM |
USA
|
Abstract
A bandwidth recovery method for a communication system includes: transmitting a first uplink scheduling message to at least a first communication node and a second communication node of a plurality of communication nodes in the communication system; detecting if a communication channel is in an idle state after a first transmission start time; then, transmitting a second uplink scheduling message to the plurality of the communication nodes when the communication channel is found to be in the idle state after the first transmission start time.

MOBILE STATION, ACCESS POINT, GATEWAY APPARATUS, BASE STATION, AND HANDSHAKE METHOD THEREOF FOR USE IN A WIRELESS NETWORK FRAMEWORK |
USA
|
Abstract
A mobile station, an access point, a gateway apparatus, a base station, and a handshake method thereof for use in a wireless network framework are provided. The wireless network framework comprises a first wireless network comprising the access point, and a second wireless network comprising the gateway apparatus and base station. There is an IP security tunnel between the access point and the gateway apparatus. When the mobile station handovers from the first wireless network to the second wireless network, it transmits a master session key to the gateway apparatus via the access point and the IP security tunnel. Additionally, when the mobile station handovers from the second wireless network to the first wireless network, it transmits a master session key to the access point. As a result, the authentication time, which is needed in handover procedure between the first wireless network and the second wireless network, is reduced effectively.

NODE APPARATUS, NODE QUANTITY ADJUSTMENT METHOD, AND TANGIBLE MACHINE-READABLE MEDIUM FOR A SENSOR NETWORK |
USA
|
Abstract
A node apparatus and an adjusting method of a quantity of nodes for a sensor network and a tangible machine-readable medium thereof are provided. The sensor network comprises a plurality of groups, wherein each group has a plurality of nodes. For each group, one of the nodes is set to be a gate node, and each node within the group transmits at least one data of itself to the corresponded gate node. Each gate node calculates a data aggregation time based on a data length per unit time of received data and a predetermined packet length, so that each gate node is able to adjust the quantity of nodes within the group thereof accordingly.

GRAPHICS PROGRCESSING SYSTEM WITH POWER-GATING CONTROL FUNCTION, POWER-GATING CONTROL METHOD, AND COMPUTER PROGRAM PRODUCTS THEREOF |
USA
|
Abstract
The invention relates to a power-gating control method for a graphics processing unit having a unified shader unit, which includes a plurality of shaders. The method includes the steps of: rendering a plurality of previous frames; calculating a first number of active shaders for rendering each previous frame, and a corresponding frame rate of each previous frame; determining a second number of active shaders for rendering a next frame immediately following the previous frame according to the first number of active shaders and the corresponding frame rate of each previous frame; and activating corresponding shaders through one or more power-gating control elements according to the second number of active shaders.

VIRTUAL MACHINE MONITORING METHOD, SYSTEM AND COMPUTER READABLE STORAGE MEDIUM |
USA
|
Abstract
A virtual machine monitoring method used in a virtual machine monitoring system is provided. The virtual machine monitoring method includes retrieving a hypercall transmitted from one of a plurality of virtual machines to a hypervisor of a virtual machine monitoring system, wherein the hypercall is used for establishing a channel between a source virtual machine and a target virtual machine. A central control virtual machine ID information in the hypervisor is retrieved. A type of the channel established by the hypercall is determined according to the central control virtual machine ID information and channel-establishing information corresponding to the hypercall. When the channel is a private channel that is not related to a central control virtual machine of the virtual machines, a security module is used to monitor the private channel.
