NETWORK ADDRESS ASSIGNMENT METHOD AND ROUTING METHOD FOR A LONG THIN ZIGBEE NETWORK |
USA
|
Abstract
A network address assignment method and a routing method for a long thin ZigBee network are provided. The routing method includes the following steps. A network address is assigned to each node of the ZigBee network, wherein each network address includes a cluster ID and a node ID. The cluster ID is used for identifying a plurality of clusters of the ZigBee network. The Node ID is used for identifying a plurality of nodes of each cluster. When a packet is transmitted, check whether the current node holding the packet and the destination node are in the same cluster. If they are in the same cluster, the packet is routed within the cluster according to the node ID of the destination node and a predetermined algorithm. If they are not in the same cluster, the packet is routed among the clusters according to the cluster ID of the destination node.

MOBILE COMMUNICATION APPARATUS, METHOD, AND COMPUTER READABLE MEDIUM THEREOF FOR EARLY MEASURING SIGNAL OF A BASE STATION |
USA
|
Abstract
A positioning module positions a location of a mobile communication apparatus. A processor determines whether the location falls within a predetermined range, wherein the predetermined range is equal to or greater than an effective communication coverage of a neighboring base station. If the processor determines that the location is within the predetermined range, a signal detection module measures the signal from the neighboring base station. By detecting the signals of the neighboring base stations earlier, the present invention is able to function while the mobile communication apparatus moves at high speeds and successfully switch the connections between the base stations.

APPARATUS, METHOD, AND COMPUTER READABLE MEDIUM THEREOF FOR SIMULTANEOUSLY ESTABLISHING LINKS WITH A PLURALITY OF NODES |
USA
|
Abstract
An apparatus, method, and computer readable medium thereof for simultaneously establishing links with a plurality of nodes in a wireless network are provided. A processing module determines whether a mesh network configuration message of the apparatus has space to packet an information element and determines whether to transmit a Neighbor Link Establishment information element to one of the nodes. If the mesh network configuration message has space to packet an information element and the Neighbor Link Establishment information element needs to be transmitted to one of the nodes, the Neighbor Link Establishment information element will be packeted into the mesh network configuration message. Finally, a transmission module transmits the mesh network configuration message to the nodes in order to solve the problem of increasing time during link establishment and avoid deadlock among the nodes when the apparatus of the prior art establishes links with the nodes simultaneously.

APPARATUS, METHOD, AND COMPUTER READABLE MEDIUM THEREOF CAPABLE OF PRE-STORING DATA FOR GENERATING SELF-SHADOW OF A 3D OBJECT |
USA
|
Abstract
A sphere tree is first generated. Accessibility values and occlusion angles corresponding to each vertex of a 3D object are calculated according to the sphere tree. A 2D texture and a 3D texture are then generated to store the accessibility values and occlusion angles. When a self-shadow effect of the 3D object is required to be generated, the relation of the spheres in the sphere tree is updated, and a 3D image is formed by retrieving the values in the 2D texture and the 3D texture according to the updated sphere tree. Since the 2D texture and the 3D texture are pre-stored, the real time calculation load is hugely reduced while the self-shadow effect is processed.

APPARATUS, METHOD, AND COMPUTER READABLE MEDIUM THEREOF FOR DRAWING 3D WATER SURFACE ACCORDING TO A REAL WATER SURFACE HEIGHT |
USA
|
Abstract
The invention generates the water grids in each of the visible range of the water wave maps and the third dimension coordinates according to the intersecting points. The third dimension coordinates are corresponded to the actual water height. Finally, the invention generates a water surface having the wave change according to the third dimension coordinates. And the invention can obtain the information of the water height dynamically, generate the water surface image having the light change, including the effect of reflection and refraction, according to the information of the water height, and make the water image corresponding to the actual water.

METHOD OF CONSTRUCTING MODEL OF RECOGNIZING ENGLISH PRONUNCIATION VARIATION |
USA
|
Abstract
A method of constructing a model of recognizing English pronunciation variations is used to recognize English pronunciations with different intonations influenced by non-English native languages. The method includes collecting a plurality of sound information corresponding to English expressions; corresponding phonetic alphabets of the non-English native language and English of a region to International Phonetic Alphabets (IPAs), so as to form a plurality of pronunciation models; converting the sound information with the pronunciation models to form a pronunciation variation network of the corresponding English expressions, thereby detecting whether the English expressions have pronunciation variation paths; and finally summarizing the pronunciation variation paths to form a plurality of pronunciation variation rules. Furthermore, the pronunciation variations are represented by phonetics features to infer possible pronunciation variation rules, which are stored to form pronunciation variation models. The construction of the pronunciation variation models enhances applicability of an English recognition system and accuracy of voice recognition.

USA
|
Abstract
A relay station, a base station, a power management method, and a computer readable medium thereof are provided. The relay station is located within the coverage area of the BS. The relay station comprises a receiving/transmission module and a determination module. The receiving/transmission module is configured to receive a BS beacon in a first period of time. The determination module is configured to allow the BS to transmit a data to the relay station according to the BS beacon, so that the receiving/transmission module transmits a power saving poll to the BS, receives a power saving poll ACK in the first period of time, and receives the data in a second period of time after the first period of time.

METHOD, NETWORK APPARATUS, AND TANGIBLE MACHINE-READABLE MEDIUM THEREOF FOR DETECTING A LOOPING NETWORK PACKET |
USA
|
Abstract
A method, a network apparatus, and a tangible machine-medium thereof for detecting a looping network packet are provided. A receiving module receives a network packet. A memory stores a routing table comprising an address related variable, a sequence number related variable and a radius related variable. A determining module determines whether the network packet is a looping network packet by comparing the parameters of the routing table with those of the network packet. With these arrangements, the routing loop caused by transmission of the network packets can be detected using current network structures.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR MULTILEVEL SIMULATION OF ANIMATION CLOTH AND COMPUTER-READABLE RECORDING MEDIUM THEREOF |
USA
|
Abstract
A system for multilevel simulation of an animation cloth is provided. The system includes a multilevel area generation module, a curvature calculation module, a curvature comparison module, and a dynamic simulation module. The multilevel area generation module divides a plurality of grid units of the animation cloth into a plurality of level sub-areas based on a multilevel technique, wherein each of the level sub-areas is generated by dividing an upper level sub-area. The curvature calculation module calculates the curvatures of the level sub-areas according to the plane vectors of the grid units in a frame. The curvature comparison module compares the curvatures of the level sub-areas with a flatness threshold. The dynamic simulation module calculates the plane vector of each grid unit in a next frame through different method according to the comparison result of the curvature comparison module.
