Date: 2014/04/30
The brilliant record of economic growth of ASEAN 10 countries in the recent years has been noticed and attracted a lot of attention, in particularly in the aftermath of global financial storm and EU national debt crisis. Among those ASEAN countries, Vietnam has been watched most closely. In the light of average GDP growth rate, Vietnam at present is the highest among 6 original ASEAN member countries, and the economic growth is also the fastest. Starting early 2009, Vietnam has begun to promote Cloud Computing by implementing Cloud Data Center, and listing the key tourism hotspots as the annual smart city development priority; Cloud System Software Institute and Advanced Research Institute of III, at the support of DoIT/MOEA “Domestic Product Cloud DataCenter Promotion Project”, met with Vietnam Software & IT Services Association (VINASA) and Welltek International on February 25th to launch “Cloud Computing and Big Data Forum” at Hanoi. The CAFÉ Domestic Cloud IDC Solution was announced there to the international market in order to size ASEAN Cloud market opportunity.
VP of III, Dr. Ko-Yang Wang, represented ARI of III to sign at MOU ceremony with Vietnam National Software and Digital Content Research Institute. In the future, there will be more cooperation of CSSI/III, ARI/III, Taiwanese vendors, and VNSDC to focus on in depth analysis of smart city and Big Data. Thus, CAFÉ becomes CloudMaster’s exclusive own Cloud Server, which has been IPO on October of 31 in 2013, providing enterprise Cloud application service for SME of Japan with consistent high opinion.
