III is double winners – Second time in PMI Benchmark Award, and also Best Practice Award - PMI Taiwan International Congress 2012 Award Competition

PMI Taiwan International Congress selects 2012 Enterprise Project Management Benchmarking Award (EPBA) and PMI Taiwan Best Practice Project Management Award are scheduled an official Awarding Ceremony on tomorrow (17th) at International Building Conference Hall at National Taiwan University of Science and Technology. Institute for Information Industry (III) after winning 2009 Benchmarking Award, again highly affirmative by the assessment committee and selects as top of paragon enterprise organization and has been offered Benchmarking Enterprise Award this year; what worth to mention is that Cyber Trust Technology Institute (CTTI) of III also has been selected for PMI Best Practice Project Management Award honor this year with the execution of “CIO Outsourcing Service of Administration Information for Commerce and industry Project of MOEA”; III in double winners this time shows professional expertise in Project Management capability and its solid research and development energy capacity.
Base on the foundation of many years effort in cultivating the growth of ICT industry, III is effectively applying the organizational R&D resource, utilizing ICT technology to process and perform project management efficiently, and to ensure each project and operation can be completed and systematically carrying out under the framework of management. To be efficiently reducing the risk at project execution and ensure each task mission is complete on-time, III coordinates and integrates each project resource to increase the performance efficiency and achieve objective and mission of organization, establishing excellent quality standard. The research team of Cyber Trust Technology Institute(CTTI) of III executes“CIO Outsourcing Service of Administration Information for Commerce and industry Project of MOEA” successfully implements Commerce and Industry Administrative Registration System, planning and installation of center databank, promotes convenient and transparent integration of service procedure for commerce and industry. The task includes assistance for MOEA to complete across-organizational integrative type of company and business operation setup, which is one-stop shop online application process, and contributed to the rank of Taiwan in the Work Bank assessment of “Starting a Business” index moving up from No. 24 in 2010 to No. 16 in 2011. Administrative Information for Commerce and Industry CIO Office of MOEA plays the role of technical staff providing professional information service, exercises PMO mechanism, execute business operation, drafting of mid to long range information development plan, making pre-project plan and plan management, information security management, and other technical enquiry relevant tasks. The excellent performance of this project has won another merit for III, and receiving best practice award in PMI competition.
At award ceremony tomorrow, III will be represented by VP, Dr. Pao-Chung Ho, and Director General of Cyber Trust Research Institute of III, Dr. Tien-CheuKao to receive the award. Vice President, Mr. Tun-I Wu, and PMI Global Strategy Chairman, Mr. Ricardo Triana, will be presented in person as award presenter in the ceremony; by overlooking into the future, III will be continue the relevant experience and capability accumulated in the execution of project management process, using proactive vision and comprehensive overall coverage to endeavor in providing the most advanced information application technology and support in assisting government business development by such highly specialized ICT project management capability. It will be an encouragement to elevate Taiwan industry with excellent advantage edge in the field of global competitiveness.
