TRACKING DATA FUSION METHOD IN COMBINED RADAR/ADS SURVEILLANCE ENVIRONMENT |
USA
|
Abstract
A tracking data fusion method used in a combined radar/ADS surveillance environment defines track states, track types, and track types transition rules to track aircraft. The best available flight services could be provided if the proposed method is used in an air traffic control system.

A TANDEM-CYCLE TARGET/TRACK ASSIGNMENT METHOD IN COMBINED RADAR/ADS SURVEILLANCE ENVIRONMENT |
USA
|
Abstract
A target/track assignment method for a combined radar/ADS surveillance environment uses tandem cycles to help the air traffic control system update the order of system tracks, thereby permitting numerous target reports to be processed in real time.

TRACK PREDICTION METHOD IN COMBINED RADAR AND ADS SURVEILLANCE ENVIRONMENT |
USA
|
Abstract
A track position prediction method used in combined radar and ADS surveillance environment is disclosed. Since the time interval between two successive ADS-A reports is too long, air traffic control system must be able to predict aircraft position within this time interval to increase safety. The present invention provides a way to satisfy this requirement.

METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR GUIDING AND POSITIONING A SELF-PROPELLED VEHICLE WITH SEQUENTIAL BARCODES |
USA
|
Abstract
A method andsystem for guiding and positioning a self-propelled vehicle with sequential barcodes has a self-propelled vehicle capable of moving on the strip holder according to the recorded barcode serial numbers on the strip holder. Furthermore, due to the barcode serial number is sequential and the gaps between the barcodes are the same, the self-propelled vehicle can calculate its velocity, distance of travel and a distance to a target location according to the barcode serial numbers. Moreover, the self-propelled vehicle can select different important positioning points.

STEPWISE QUALITY-OF-SERVICE SCHEDULING METHOD IN OUTPUT-BUFFERED SWITCHES FOR BROADBAND NETWORKS |
USA
|
Abstract
In a stepwise QoS scheduling method in output-buffered switches for broadband networks, packets are sequentially inserted in a sequence of windows on weight basis. The window size together with the weight of a flow determines the credits in a window for the flow. With sufficient credits, new packets are placed in the current window on a FIFO basis. Otherwise, packets are placed in an upward window being associated with sufficient accumulated credits.

INFORMATION RETRIEVAL SYSTEM WITH A NEURO-FUZZY STRUCTURE |
USA
|
Abstract
An intelligent information retrieval system for finding information components corresponding to an input query word. The system includes a synonym block for finding synonymous indexed keywords of the query word; an information indexing block for finding corresponding information components based on the indexed keyword; a component ranking-filtering block for ranking and filtering the found information components and outputting the desired information components being selected; a synonym adjusting block for adjusting the fuzzy mechanism of the synonym block based on the found information components; and a filtering adjusting block for adjusting the fuzzy mechanism of the ranking-filtering block based on the found information components. The aforementioned synonym block and information-indexing block are implemented by neuro-fuzzy networks for accelerating parallel processing and automatic learning. Further, the synonym block can tolerate input errors by way of query word encoding and position shift compensation.

METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR DOCUMENT CLASSIFICATION WITH MULTIPLE DIMENSIONS AND MULTIPLE ALGORITHMS |
USA
|
Abstract
A system for document classification with multiple dimensions and multiple algorithms. The system includes a preference database, a generator, and a classification unit. The preference database stores at least one classification preference. The classification preference includes a plurality of categories, each of which has a corresponding algorithm. The generator transforms the classification preference into a classification code. The classification unit executes the classification code to classify the document, thus one or several detailed catalogues corresponding to each of the categories are acquired.

SYSTEM OF NON-INTRUSIVE ACCESS CONTROL AND METHOD THEREOF |
USA
|
Abstract
A non-intrusive access control method. First, identification of a tag and real-time circumstance information both related to a detection area are acquired. Next, whether the tag is permitted is determined based on circumstance identification corresponding to the detection area, the tag and the real-time circumstance information.

CRYPTOGRAPHIC CHECKSUM APPARATUS |
USA
|
Abstract
A cryptographic checksum apparatus is disclosed. This apparatus includes a keystream generator configured to generate a secret keystream according to a common secret key. The apparatus also includes a postfix circuit configured to augment postfix bits after an original message. Further, a demultiplexer is used to direct the postfixed message to one of the output terminals under the control of the secret keystream. A first mixer is connected to one output terminal of the demultiplexer, and a second mixer is connected to the other output terminal of the demultiplexer. Moreover, a first compression circuit is used to receive an output of the first mixer, wherein content of the first compression circuit is used as the first part of the checksum output. Similarly, a second compression circuit is used to receive an output of the second mixer, wherein content of the second compression circuit is used as the second part of the checksum output. Finally, a first transmission gate is connected to the second compression circuit, whose output bit is then transferred to the first mixer through the first transmission gate under control of the postfixed message bit. A second transmission gate is connected to the first compression circuit, whose output bit is then transferred to the second mixer through the second transmission gate under control of the postfixed message bit.

ELECTRONIC PAYMENT DEVICE USING UNBALANCED BINARY TREE AND THE METHOD OF THE SAME |
USA
|
Abstract
An electronic payment device and its method using an unbalanced binary tree are disclosed. The total unit n of the amount of money that user purchases is decomposed first into a Matrix of p rows×q columns. Then, a first one-way function h 1and a second one-way function h 2serve to define the one-way function operation of the first row and each column, respectively. When two numbers of operation times a and b are calculated by their formulas respectively, they are substituted into formula X k=h 2b(h 1a(X pq h1a(Xpq)). Namely, by the first one-way function h1, a times of operation is performed, and then by the second one-way function h2, b times of operation is performed, thus, a first data Xk of current consumption can be derived rapidly. The present invention has only a few times of operation, thus the calculating efficiency is improved greatly.
