ELECTRONIC PAYMENT DEVICE USING BALANCED BINARY TREE AND THE METHOD OF THE SAME |
USA
|
Abstract
Disclosed is an electronic payment device and its method using an balanced binary tree for calculating a first data X kof current consumption or a plurality of root values R qfrom an initial value X nof the amount of money that user purchases. The first data X kis correspondent to a position value j with a respective relation of j=n-k+1. The first data X kis generated according to the value of the binary code d m-1d m-2. . . d 1d 0of the position value j being a 0 or 1, by formula X k=h d0(. . . (h dm-2(h dm-1(X n)))). If the binary code d i=0, i=m-1, m-2, . . . , 1, 0, then the first one-way function h 0is used as an operating function. Otherwise, the second one-way function h 1is operated when the binary code d i=1. Moreover, a function operating device for an electronic payment using an balanced binary tree is also disclosed. The present invention requires less calculation than that in the prior art, and thus is more effective.

COMPUTER WITH A TOUCH SCREEN |
USA
|
Abstract
The present invention relates to a computer with a touch screen, and the user can execute one of "undo", "cut", "copy" and "paste" editing commands by a continuous stroke movement to increase the input operational efficiency. For example, after marking an area on the screen, if the subsequent stroke is moved downwards, the "cut" operation is performed, and if the subsequent stroke is moved upwards, the "copy" operation is performed. Furthermore, when the user stops the stroke at a predetermined position, if the subsequent stroke is moved towards the right, the "paste" operation is performed, and if the subsequent stroke is moved towards the left, the "undo" operation is performed.
